I have a research paper to write about the rationales for war for War and Diplomacy. Having decided to take a somewhat unorthodox approach, I am looking, to an extent, at gang warfare. At the moment, I am trying to get an idea for what incident started the whole cycle of violence and retribution between the Bloods and Crips, although anything which gives information on the beginnings of the various issues between gangs (not to be confused with organized crime syndicates, I have plenty on LCN Yakuza etc) which have started wars. Does anyone know of a good reference on the subject?
