BY MICHAEL WEBSTER: SYNDICATED INVESTIGATIVE REPORTER. Sunday DEC 14, 2008 at 12:01 PM PST

From Brownsville Texas to San Diego California Mexican cities bordering American cities along the U.S. Mexican border are where Americans are being killed by assassinations and executions. Many Americans were kidnapped in the U.S. and taken to Mexico where they were murdered. Still other Americans were abducted and slain in Mexico while visiting, others where shot gangland style in country. Dozens of U.S. citizens have been kidnapped, or held hostage, or killed by their captors in Mexico and many cases remain unsolved. Moreover, new cases of disappearances and kidnap-for-ransom and Americans being killed continue to be reported.

38 year old American Carey McClintock was found dead Aug 31, 2008 in the dangerous Mexican town of Ciudad Juarez across the border from El Paso, Texas.

The number of murders in Juarez has jumped from 300 in 2007 to roughly 1,500 this year more than five times as many as last year.

Due to the so-called drug war extortions, robberies, kidnappings and executions in Juarez these crimes have mushroomed unchecked, and many U.S. citizens are getting killed in that violence.

Of the few that the FBI reported as known kidnappings there were 30 U.S. citizens that have been kidnapped or disappeared, nine were later released, two found dead and 13 still missing .

The FBI now refuses to estimate the numbers of Americans being kidnapped or murdered in Mexico. These earlier reports were out dated and officials believe the real numbers are much greater. All 30 were Americans just from the San Diego area alone. How many other U.S. citizens are there? No one seems to know for sure. But there are others more from border cities like El Paso.

Carey was alone in a well known downtown Juarez tourist hotel. Two men where seen according to the bell boy forcing Carey from her room and it is believed she was taken to an unknown site where she was brutally beaten and then stabbed 37 times. Her bloody butchered lifeless body was found by police in an abandoned house on the out-shirts of town. Carey’s handbag, possible cell phone and all her personal possessions were found in her room at the hotel and Carey’s family wants to know what other things where found of Carey’s and what happen to them after the Juarez police took them into custody? We have asked the Juarez authorities for an accounting of them and to turn them over to us but so far no luck, according to Carey’s Father Stan McClintock.

In recent years over 500 girls and women have been killed in Ciudad Juárez and Chihuahua City, Mexico. Most of the victims were young and poor and many were sexually assaulted prior to their deaths. If Carey was raped the police report does not indicate it.

The family was devastated to learn of Carey’s death and of course wanted to know what happened to Carey.

Carey’s Father and Mother Sheila along with sisters Cathleen and Colleen traveled to Juárez where they identified the mutilated body of Carey at the Juárez coroner’s morgue. As the police and coroner were poring over Carey’s murder scene, they knew that other Mexican drug cartel gunmen most likely were shooting down other victims with automatic weapons fire some where else in the city.

Carey’s family keeps attempting to find out the details of the murder and who was responsible. They first went to the Juárez Police Dept. and after being given the run around they were finely able to talk with the detectives charged with finding the killer or killers. The police said they had no suspects or even any leads. The detectives indicated that there were so many unsolved murders in Juárez that they held out little hope of ever finding out who did it. The family pleaded with the police to please keep them informed as the investigation went forward. After weeks of no word from anybody Mr. McClintock started contacting Mexican police again and the American Consulate General’s office in Juárez. Still Nothing! He than contacted the El Paso Police Dept. he was told that because the alleged crime took place in Mexico that the El Paso police could not open an investigation into his daughter murder.

When it became apparent that there was nothing really being done to find the killer of his daughter Mr. McClintock started investigating the matter himself.

According to Mr. McClintock some time after contacting the El Paso City Police he received an e-mail from El Paso Police Detective Jesus C Terrones. “Needless to say I am disappointed that no one is really looking for Carey’s murderer”, McClintock said. How do we ever get to the bottom of this if we have to rely on the Juarez Police Department I asked Terrones? I did think it was interesting that Torrones said the unit in Juarez assigned to this case was the best one they had. I guess meaning there best is not very good. He offered this in a phone conversation I had with him earlier this week”.

McClintock says the local police, El Paso County Sheriff, FBI, DEA, and Homeland Security all have refused to investigate his daughter’s horrible death or even look into it for that matter.

In direct contras on June 19, of the same year 2008, ICE was contacted by an aide to Congressman Silvestre Reyes (D-TX), chairman of the influential and powerful House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence which has oversight responsibilities for the Department of Homeland Security, the parent department of ICE, FBI,CIA and others, he asked for ICE to help arrange the release of Mexican National Erika Posselt a relative of the congressman’s wife who had been kidnapped for ransom from a business she owns in Mexico.

“ she is not even a U.S. citizen, yet she gets the help she needed just because she is the relative of our El Paso Congressman, that is truly a shame” according to Donna Welch an El Paso native. McClintock could not agree more and must wonder the same thing.

Still more murders of Americans are known such as an 11-year-old from El Paso who was killed recently during a highway robbery on the Durango-Mazatlan road in Mexico. The boy, Rico Armando Bañuelas, was on a family trip to Mazatlan.

New cases of disappearances and kidnap-for-ransom and American deaths continue to be reported. No one can be considered immune from these crimes on the basis of occupation, nationality, or other factors. Mexican criminals have been known to follow harass and kill U.S. citizens traveling in their vehicles, particularly in border areas including Nuevo Laredo, Matamoros, Reynosa, Juarez, Mexicali, Tijuana and most all border towns.

23 year old American Kyle Mostello Belanger has been reported missing since last May and believed to have been kidnapped and is being held against his will for ransom in Juarez Mexico. The information has been forwarded to the Mexican Government and to the FBI and other U.S. agencies with no apparent follow-up investigations much less locating arresting and punishing his perpetrators.

Two more U.S. residents, Roberto Martinez and Ruth Sagredo Velasco, were killed in a barrage of at least 20 shots from AK-47 assault rifles fired at them as they drove in a Nov. 22 funeral procession for Sagredo’s sister.

Both Martinez and Sagredo were U.S. residents living in El Paso and working at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center there.

Mexican police recently discovered the bodies of a male and female believed to be Americans. The riddled bodies were found in a gray 2004 Kia Amanti also riddled with bullets at Boulevard Cuatro Siglos between Hermanos Escobar and Pérez Serna. Police said the car had U.S. plates.

The American couple were believed visiting in Juárez attending the funeral of the killed woman’s sister, who was also killed in a homicide only last week; Juarez police investigators told the El Paso Journal that the couple were obviously targeted.

Cmdr. Fernando Lozano Sandoval, of the Chihuahua State Investigations Agency, was shot in the Mexican city just across the Rio Grande from El Paso. He was one of three police officials shot in Juarez over two days, and the only one to survive.

Lozano, identified by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office as a U.S. citizen, was taken to El Paso County’s Thomason Hospital, the only Level 1 trauma center within 280 miles.

Another U.S. woman slain in Juarez

A woman identified as Ana Lourdes Hernandez, 32 and a U.S. citizen was killed in a drive-by shooting in Juárez, officials said. She died after she was taken by ambulance to Thomason Hospital in El Paso at the request of her family, a Juárez police spokesman said.

A vehicle drove by, and several shots were fired at Hernandez as she stood outside a home in the Bellavista area west of downtown Juárez, police said.

Marisela Molinar, 48, and Jesús Martín Huerta Hiedra were fatally shot in her 2009 Dodge Journey at Juan Pablo II and Arizona boulevards in Juárez at about 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, Mexican authorities said.

They both suffered multiple gunshot wounds and Mexican investigators discovered 85 shell casings at the scene.

La Mesa California an American woman Libby Gianna Craig was among four people found shot to death in a canyon near Rosarito Beach in Baja California.

The 28-year-old was in an area known as Morro Canyon along with three Afro-American males, Mexican police identified as “Black Americans”. Early reports also said more bodies were found in a separate location at different points of Playas de Rosarito, reported some Mexican papers.

All the shootings were apparently deliberate and targeted. According to Rosarito police.

A member of a well-known Willacy County farming family was found shot to death in Guanajuato, Mexico, this year according to the online edition of Correo, the state newspaper. Paul Wetegrove, 46, whose family grows onions, sugar cane and cabbage outside Raymondville, was reportedly shot by a man who approached him in a red Dodge Caravan, Correo stated. There were four other men in the vehicle. A man at the office of the Wetegrove packing shed on Farm-to-Market 762 on Friday refused to comment on the published reports. He said that the family wanted its privacy at this time. “What’s happened?

American Sam Botner killed in Mexico. He was brutally murdered by six Mexican cops while he was arrested on August 27, 2008 at the penitentiary of San Jose del Cabo Mexico.

Earlier this year four Americans were shot and wounded as they were leaving the Arriba Chihuahua nightclub in the ProNaF tourist zone in the heart of city of Juárez.

This reporter believes the above Americans killed or wounded in Mexico in 2008 is but a few of many. We are awaiting the results of a freedom of information filing to try and determine how many Americans have been killed in Mexico just this year (2008) and who they are.

An alarming number of people have directly been killed in drug related violence in Mexico this year. Nearly 7,000 drug related deaths since January 2007. As previously reported in the Laguna Journal more people have died in Mexico than in Iraq and Afghanistan combined. Many of these deaths were Americans. This is all after more than 50,000 troops and federal police were deployed to Mexican cities, many along the border with the U.S.

Stan McClintock says he intents to continue his quest to find the killer or killers of his beloved Carey. He says he has some leads now and will investigate the matter no matter how long it may take to get to the bottom of it or where it may lead. He intents to pursue it with or without the American authorities help.

Editor’s note: The Laguna Journal/El Paso Journal will keep our readers up to date with the latest developments in the Carey McClintock case.

In November of 2005 I was contacted by Dr. Vaugn Moody, the medical director of an American Laser Center in Draper, Utah. (Yep. The same ALC that’s running the laser hair removal infomercials.) Dr. Moody had been the medical director for ALC and had built out a new clinic in Draper. ALC had moved with him and were renting 4 treatment rooms and a front desk area. ALC had a staff of about six young women (early 20’s) who were generally autonomous. About medical spa franchises.

Dr. Moody called and asked to meet and discuss the possibility of leaving American Laser Clinics and associating in some way with Surface.

According to Dr. Moody, American Laser Clinics was constantly late paying him for overseeing their operations and operating far outside the acceptable norms of ethics and acceptable medical standards. He was unhappy with a long laundry list.

American Laser Clinics was initiating IPL fotofacials without adequate or proper training for their staff.

The ALC technicians were being hired, given an hour or so of training from the other technicians and then performing treatments.
Dr Moody, the medical director, was entirely removed from any interaction with patients. The staff gossip was that the ALC staff had been told never to referr a patient to Dr. Moody’s clinic since he’d try to ’steal them’.
Patients were being diagnosed and treated without being seen by anyone other than a technician with no medical licensure or training.

Dr. Moody twas being sued by a patient who had been burned from a bikini line hair removal. The most interesting thing about this was not the fact that they had burned someone but that the burns showed the treatment pattern and that it was obvious that they had intentionally not treated the entire area but were ’skipping’ ever other pulse. During later conversations with staff members they represented to me that they were actually trained to do that to save time.

The patient suing Dr. Moody (and American Laser Clinics) had been treated by a new hire who, without any supervison, had used the IPL Fotofacial head rather than the hair removal. Additonally she’d turned the device up. The result was a perfectly detailed burn that ran from her navel down to her pubis and resembling a zipper with that skipped pattern. The patient, who was supposedly a swim suit model heading for Las Vegas, was not happy. And rightly so.

Dr. Moody also told me that ALC staff treated a number of patients after he told them specifically not to because the laser was not resetting itself correctly and needed to be serviced. The result. Burns again.

This litany of horrors went on and on. The staffs of both clinics were almost openly hostile. The situation was unmanagable and getting more so.

I should insert here that Dr. Moody went to medical school with one of our physicians and there was some pressure from that quarter to help him out. There was also the idea of converting his entire clinic to a Surface clinic which was Dr. Moodys positon from the start.

I ended up having a number of meetings with Dr. Moody. The situation was bleek but after a few weeks of dinners and a number of long conversations I agreed to convert his clinic to a Surface locaton after he disentangled himself from American Laser Clinics.

Of course there were a few problems. First, Dr. Moody claimed that he was afraid that ALC would not only retaliate by suing him, but that he might be in physical danger from them. He constantly spoke of ALC being run by ‘mobsters’. At first I thought this was kind of funny.

Dr. Moody sent a letter to ALC that basically said that he would not sign a lease at that location and that they had 30 days to find another location. I saw and read the letter before it was sent and there were some other notes in there about late payment and such but that was the gist of it. (There was a letter of intent at the time but no lease so Dr. Moody was fine there.)

ALC did not go quietly into the night.

Rick Frisk, who I think is a vice-president, was one of the founders of American Laser Clinics and had know Dr. Moody for a long time, called. Dr. Moody described the call to me as a lot of yelling and threats. Now I’m aware that people often exaggerate to make a point. But in this case I was there during a number of the calls and could hear the speaker on the other end. (Dr. Moody also recorded at least one of these calls and possibly more with a little recording device he’d bought at Radio Shack.) I could hear some of what was said and listened to the recorded converstaton that Dr. Moody provided to me. I’ve never heard or seen anything quite as nasty. Rick’s boss, the President of American Laser Clinics (I forget his name as I write this) threatened to spend his last cent to ‘break’ Dr. Moody among a long list of profanity. There were any number of these calls. The one’s I was privy to were at least ten minutes long.

What had really upset Rick and the ALC gang was that Dr. Moody had spent long hours at night copying all of their patient records. Now as the medical director he actually had a right to access these records but ALC was not happy with having their entire database of clients copied by someone who was kicking them out and obviously had designs on their business. Dr. Moody now had copies of every patient contact sheet that ALC had at the clinic. I can’t remember exactly how many there were but it was an entire wall full and had taken at least 30 hours of work at night to copy.

Then the shit really hit the fan.

American Laser Clinics hired an armed guard to protect themselves, their records, and their patients, from Dr. Moody.

The picture at the top of this post is of that guard standing in the front of Dr. Moodys clinic. I took the photo. It’s difficult to see but the guard actually had a gun on his hip. It was crazy. The guard had been informed that Dr. Moody was a threat to the patients and staff and he took his posting seriously. Any time that Dr. Moody would walk towards his office (where I was standing and where the picture was taken from) the guard would run down the hall and confront him to prevent him from whatever.

All the while American Laser Clinics is treating patients. That woman in the photo is a patient filling out paperwork.

Let me reiterate:

American Laser Clinics is performing medical treatments on patients while an armed guard prevents the physician responsible for their care from seeing them.

I thought I’d seen it all but I guess not. The ALC staff members had been instructed to have no contact with any of other clinic staff and they were telling patients that the guy with the gun was just waiting for someone to get of work or some such nonsense. I would certainly love to have been privy to what the patients were thinking. There were a lot of angry looks from the ALC girls.

By the second day even I’d had enough.

I called a few contacts I have at the local news and had a camera crew sent out. At the same time Dr. Moody called Utah’s Department of Licensure and complained to them about these ‘illegal’ treatments going on inside his clinic while the guards were there. (They hadn’t heard of this before either.)

It was priceless watching the film crew show up. Dr. Moody, who used to be an Elvis impersonator, escorted the camera right up front and started interviewing the guard and the ALC staff. I guess he felt safe enought that the guard wouldn’t shoot him in front of the TV camera. The guard went all shades of red. It was somewhat funny but I felt really bad for the entire ALC crew. They were scrambling for cell phones like they were drowning and their cell phones were reserve air tanks. The poor security guard was obviously asking his boss for directions. He didn’t know if he should plug’em all or run.

Dr. Moody spent 20 minutes interviewing the ALC staff asking them who their medical director, who’s clinic it is, and why there’s a guy with a gun there.

Then the inspector from DOPL showed up. (I have photos of this entire phase.)

The inspector was really a take charge kind of guy. The TV cameras didn’t even phase him.

Then two police cars and the security guards company owner show up.

Let me set the stage again: We have an Elvis impersonator with a TV crew, the State, the Cops, Dr. Moodys staff, and the ALC staff…. and patients coming in for laser hair removal.

I have to say that the State inspector and the cops were really good. The first thing that the cops did was run the security guards off the property as soon as they determined who owned it. They left in a hurry. ALC was not as fortunate.

The State shut them down on the spot.

They reopened the next day and treated a number of patient without any medical supervison (Dr. Moody took photos of all of this) but the State was on to them and they closed for a few more days while they scrambled. They ended up hiring a PA to literally sit in the waiting area all day. They met the deadline and moved back to their previous location.

But the saga is not yet over.

The patient who was burned sued ALC and Dr. Moody making them co-defendants.

ALC sued Dr. Moody for breech of contract claiming that they had a lease (which they did not).

During these procedures Dr. Moody was ordered to turn over all the American Laser Centers patient records that he had copied. He turned over a few few hundred but the vast majority were never turned over. I don’t know specifically what the order stated but every single ALC record was copied and then entered into the front desk computer database with emails and contact info.

So, that’s how it happened. Any thoughts?

In the days when pit fighting was an accepted “sport” in the country of Great Britain and later in America, Pitbulls of various origins were the dogs of choice for this activity.

To a large extent, the original “bulldog” was one of the foundation breeds of dogs of this type. One of the functions of the of the “bulldog” was to hang onto the bull, to worry the bull and not let go once the dog bit.

Thus the jaws have great strength and power. When the Pitbull became a part of the scene of fighting dogs, the function was that of fighting other dogs rather than the bull.

From these dogs descended the American Staffordshire Terrier, bred to be a great fighting machine with punishing jaws and formidable strength but without viciousness.

The Amstaff, as it is known by the shortened version of its name and its close cousin, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, are both of the general description of a dog that was bred to fight other dogs. Blended into this function in the case of both of these breeds was an admirable temperament that combined devotion to human family and gentleness with children.

The dog makes an outstanding guard dog. When it is a true Amstaff it will posses a stable temperament combining these qualities.

The American Staffordshire Terrier was admitted to the registry of the American Kennel Club in 1972. Since then it has become a dog that is quite popular in the show ring. It should have “punishing” jaws of great strength, a muscular appearance, with a deep rib cage and a general appearance of great power.

The temperament however if bred correctly and if trained responsibly should be that of courage and strong guarding tendencies mixed with a devotion and loyalty to its human family members.

The reputation of the breed has suffered due to the close relationship both in appearance and temperament to the “Pitbull terrier”, which has been labeled as a “vicious dog” in many municipalities and has even been banned or placed on the list of aggressive dogs by Insurance Companies, who will not even grant home ownership policies to persons with this type of dog in their household.

Unfortunately most of these problems with aggression have been brought about by humankind. Responsible owners are not as numerous as irresponsible owners. As the Pitbull variety has developed in this country it has become a breed that is much admired by teenage gang members as a “status symbol” and has been used also in illegal dog fighting.

Thus a great deal of over breeding has produced a dog that can be a formidable fighting machine with little regard being paid to stability of temperament.

The temperament of dogs is definitely an inherited condition. All breeders should be aware of this fact. Irresponsible breeding combined with irresponsible ownership have contributed to this reputation.

The American Staffordshire Terrier as seen in the show ring is a dog that for the most part has been bred responsibly and will not exhibit the unstable temperament associated with the Pitbull. The general public is not aware of the differences between the true Amstaff and the Pitbull. The fact remains that the two breeds are separate and distinct.

However, this does not make a difference when newspaper accounts of “pitbull attacks” are heavily publicized. This problem is not going to go away and unfortunately it may become a possibility that the American Staffordshire Terrier will become a breed that will be banned also.

Mexican cartel Los Zetas paramilitary surrogates attacked and slaughtered an American in Phoenix Ariz. Police say the attackers were dressed in black military like combat uniforms very similar to known Mexican cartel paramilitary gangs.

Phoenix papers report that 6 Mexicans killed a Phoenix man who was found dead by police in a local neighborhood home riddled with more than 100 bullets. Google or click on: They’re known as “Los Zetas

The WorldNetDaily is reporting that some are calling a Mexican drug cartel hit performed by members of the active Mexican Army.

According to early and sketchy reports a Phoenix Police Special Assignments Units heard shots coming from a nearby neighborhood and began to drive toward the noise Sunday. Detectives said once police gained entry into the home, they found the body of Andrew Williams, 30, shot numerous times, according to Arizona Daily News.

“We have seen an increasing amount of these type of violent crimes in the past five months,” Phoenix Police Sgt. Joel Tranter said. “We want the public to realize that these types of crimes will not be tolerated in Phoenix.”

Former Rep. J.D. Hayworth, R-Ariz., said Tuesday on 550 KFYI-AM that he had acquired an internal memo identifying one of the suspects as a former member of the Mexican military, and he interviewed Mark Spencer of the Phoenix Law Enforcement Association. The men were said to be wielding AR-15 assault weapons and wearing full body armor and black assault gear similar to uniforms worn by military and police tactical teams.

Detectives were alarmed to find more than 100 rounds of ammunition in the bullet-riddled home, along with marijuana and body armor, the Arizona Daily News reported. Just as more investigators appeared on the scene, they saw a suspicious red Chevrolet Tahoe driving through the neighborhood. As the officers gave chase three men jumped from the vehicle and ran, but police run them down and arrested them. Spencer said the men were intending to try and ambush the pursuing officers but had ran out of ammunition.

Daniel Garcia-Saenz, 24, Manual Garcia-Trejom, 25, and Rodolfo Madrigal Lopez, 19, each wore tactical clothing and Kevlar helmets and other weapons were found in the vehicle.

Police believe the hit was drug-related and are looking for three more suspects in the case.

This is but another example that the violence in Mexico has and is spilling over into the states, even through many politicians and even the ambassador to Mexico have said it was not happening. Google or click on: Mexican Drug cartels terror reaches deep into the U.S.

Drug-related violence has been escalating and reportedly is shifting from Mexico to U.S. border states since Mexican President Felipe de Jesus Calderon Hinojosa ordered troops to fight the cartels.

El Universal, a Mexico City-based newspaper, reported 38 people killed in Mexican drug cartels Tuesday, the highest number reported one a single day this year.

Eighteen of the deaths took place in Ciudad Juarez, just across the border from El Paso, Texas, where 2,800 troops have been assigned to fight cartel trafficking and violence.

The newspaper reported more than 1,833 people have been killed in Mexico’s drug trade-related violence this year.

The proliferation of e-commerce based businesses on the internet has not escaped the attention of serious organised crime lords. These aspiring entrepreneurs have decided that their transnational crime business offering cleverly and sometimes not so cleverly disguised financial scams should benefit from the cyber space gold rush.

Many business owners are aware of what the serious organised crime agency calls scams Nigerian. Many security experts and business consultants feel that because this variant of the gangsters crime has been running for several years that security complacency is setting in.

If for one moment you think that no one would ever get taken in by this gang crime offering serious amounts of money to greedy and gullible business owners then think again.

As a security expert, I have dealt with numerous business clients who although being very astute and intelligent business entrepreneurs have fallen victim to greed and been suckered in to the transnational crime of financial scams.

The premise of every financial scam lies in the perpetrator convincing the human target that he or she will receive a very large sum of unregistered cash for providing little if any financial outlay.

However given that this is frequently perpetrated by serious organised crime lords there are hidden dangers which every business owner should know about scams Nigerian and other gang crime related financial scams.

The British American Security Expert reports that many business owners are being targeted by serious organised crime syndicates offering variants of a financial scam.

Many of these internet based financial scams have become known by every security expert & business consultant as scams Nigerian. This gangsters crime is now recognised by the serious organised crime agency as a transnational crime. This gang crime can have a deadly outcome.

Another new year and another variant of the old scams Nigerian serious organised crime financial scam.

Over the years I’ve been promised, yes promised a 50% share in $50,000,000 fortune left lying in a Nigerian Bank by a deceased Prince who’s daughter wants me to sign a few papers and simply visit Nigeria to pick up the money from the bank.

I don’t know what I’ve done to attract this Nigerian business middle man to become my-self appointed finance pimp, but when I failed to respond to his gracious initial offer, he took it upon himself to offer many other different tranches of cash ranging from $10,000,000 to £100,000,00. He constantly informs me via e-mail that I simply have to save a Princess, or the family of a deceased Ruler and I can pocket half of these vast fortunes. And the bonus is, this guy is a master business marketeer and although his PHD in marketing comes from ‘the school of gang crime hard knocks’ he understands the need for persistence. He also understands the mindset of a busy western business person and has minimised the downtime to be spent in Nigeria. To achieve this, one only has to supply him with one’s bank account details.

I can hear you screaming at me, but hold on, my Pimp assures me on the soul of his dead mother, that everything is above board and my bank details are safe, 100% guaranteed. In these uncertain times that’s a better guarantee than Lehman’s bank and Northern Rock.

Over the years my-self appointed finance pimp has even graciously introduced me to his brothers and sisters, who have all contacted me with equally fantastic multi-million dollar deals.

How courteous is that, he’s obviously a prolific business networker looking to develop his own affiliate marketing business. It’s amazing how this family can identify so many individuals willing to part with 50% of their multimillion dollar inheritances, if I just provide my bank details and visit Nigeria.

Given my latest e-mail, it appears he has now developed a Network Marketing branch to his business, but keen to maintain integrity, he is only recruiting his family members into his down lines.

I found the following e-mail from his cousin, a banker in an Islamic Development Bank very tempting. Hell he even writes in a way that I can almost decipher without having to call on my MI5 code breaking connections.

Received on February 14th 2009. As follows…

Dear friend

I am Mr Daniel Kuso a banker in Islamic development bank. My cousin asked me to contact you because of your discreetino. I contacted you now on a business deal of us$15,000.000, to transfer to your account The depositor of the said fund died with his entire family during the Iraq war in 2004.

The customer & his entire family died, unfortunately, leaving nobody for the claim. if we make this claim, we will share it 40%/60%. If you are interested reply I will give you the full details.

Waiting for reply Best reegardes, Mr. Daniel Kuso

If I’m aware of one thing, it’s that my finance pimp is a shining beacon of hope for how a small business can prosper and expand globally in such a relatively short period of time.

He clearly learnt from the serious organised crime university financial scam degree program. His Professor at the gang crime Business University must have taught him that marketing is all about researching your prospective clients, and then building a long term rapport with them.

Scams Nigerian, what a business, and such global expansion. My finance pimp now has offices in Nigeria, Chad, Congo, Niger, Sudan and Somalia. I’ve no doubt he will receive great acclaim and masses of business innovation awards for successfully expanding his business into lawless regions of the African Continent.

If only the serious organised crime agency had the funds to expand globally in such a relatively short period of time.

On a more serious note, I’m known as the British American Security Expert, a security specialist and I’ve provided my services in 42 countries to numerous business entrepreneurs and corporate executives. All of who have conducted business in politically unstable regions and war zones.

Clearly the above is a financial scam by organised or sometimes dis-organised and dysfunctional crime syndicates which originate in Nigeria.

You might have read the above and saw straight through it, however this financial scam is built of a solid foundation of greed, and unfortunately a lot of rational business people are motivated by greed. I know for a fact that different variants of this financial scam work.

A few years ago I was providing a VIP protective service to business executives in Georgia USA, when I found out two of them had been taken in by the offer of $25 million dollars if they flew into Nigeria after providing their bank details.

I had extensive experience of financial scams and in particular had dealt with several other cases relating to what just about every professional security expert calls scams Nigerian.

I persuaded these two intelligent businessmen to cancel their visit just a few hours before their plane departed; but too late to stop their bank accounts being raided.

Ever heard the phrase, if it looks like a duck and it sounds like a duck, then it’s a duck? This always looks like a gangsters crime financial scam and it always sounds like a gang crime financial scam, therefore it’s nothing other than a transnational crime financial scam.

There are only downsides to giving your bank details to a stranger and then flying into Nigeria. Best case scenario is you will become the victim of identity theft and your bank finances will be raided.

Next scenario is you could be kidnapped for ransom. Worst case scenario you may be executed to cover the criminals tracks. Either way, you obviously lose.

Don’t for one moment think it could never happen to you or even to someone you know. In my role as the british american security expert and International business consultant over the last few years I have had personal hands on involvement with 6 different transnational crime financial scams cases, and have been made aware of many more.

Trust your gut feeling and if you are still unsure contact me for a security consultation. If ever you are tempted by the lure of £25.000.000 million pounds for a one day trip to Nigeria then please contact the serious organised crime agency because for sure you are being targeted by a gangsters crime run by serious organised crime lords.

‘Special Forces know when to arrive and when to leave. They never overstay their welcome.’

I have spent many years in the company of, and training of Special Forces around the globe. One of the best benefits is that I receive frequent intelligence updates from serving Special Forces personnel who are deployed in various global theatres of conflict.

I’ve written several articles recently about maritime piracy and the subsequent kidnap for ransom of maritime employees. Therefore it came as no great surprise that as soon as a gang of Somalian pirates decided to hi-jack the Maersk Alabama so quickly into the presidential rein of Barrack Obama, it was only a matter of time before Special Forces were deployed to teach the pirates a lesson in good manners.

Now it’s safe to say these pirates were not exactly Mensa candidates, a fact which repeatedly played out until the final outcome of this kidnapping.

As way of a brief synopsis of the case, An American cargo ship was hijacked by pirates. The Alabama’s 21 man crew fought off the pirates but the Captain was taken hostage after offering himself up to save his crew from further harm Four armed men then surrounded Captain Richard Philips. The Captain leapt into the Indian Ocean approximately 300 miles off the coast of Somalia, but despite a struggle the pirates hauled him back aboard a lifeboat. The pirates demanded a $2 million ransom for the Captain’s release and issued warnings that they would kill him if they were attacked or if the ransom was not paid.

This is when thinks started to get hokey. Other pirates in the area were reported to be heading towards these pirates in a hijacked German vessel. Apparently they believed the Americans would not attack if another foreign vessel was close by. Other pirates released a Norwegian tanker and it’s 27 crew after receiving a $2.4 million ransom.

And so at the Presidents nod it was ‘game on’ the Navy Seals Special Forces versus Pirates. The Navy Seals entered the arena as the USS Bainbridge shadowed the pirates.

Unbeknown to the pirates a Navy Seal team transferred from the USS Boxer to the Bainbridge. The pirates became concerned their boat was getting too close to shore and asked to be pulled out further to sea. The USS Bainbridge kindly obliged with a cable which was attached by Navy divers under cover of darkness without the Pirates knowledge. At daybreak one of the pirates aged 16 asked to negotiate whereupon he was invited aboard and allowed by the commander of the Bainbridge to call his family by cell phone.

Amid all this nicety the Navy Seals had taken up tactical positions and informed the commander they had a good opportunity to shoot the remaining pirates as they were poking their heads out of openings to get fresh air.

This all played out as the young pirate was engaged in conversation with the tactical management team. The commander gave the order to shoot to kill. The seals fired three shots killing the pirates and thus saving Captain Phillips. The young pirate was by now enjoying meal compliments of the US government and had no idea how things were playing out.

This was his rude introduction to the phrase live by the sword-die by the sword. The only way to reduce the number of pirate attacks on maritime vessels is to ensure armed personnel accompany each vessel and that every crew member is trained in counter piracy tactics.

I have spent a great number of years providing close protection and asset protection for lots of corporate clients. During my career I have also provide maritime vessel and crew security in various countries. Maritime security and anti piracy operations cannot be conducted by security operatives trained in conventional close protection skills. Maritime security is a completely different arena and specialised security training should be undertaken before stepping into this arena.

It is my opinion that rules of engagement need to be re-written. Given that access control is the foundation stone of all security operations to reduce the risk, all small vessels approaching larger military or civilian cargo or passenger ships in waters dominated by Pirates should be fired upon to deter pirates.

Mark Yates a security consultant from www.asecurityonestopshop.com offers his final perspective. Navy Seals Special Forces versus Pirates- no contest. However Somalian pirates are not rational human beings they have this ridiculous sense of having kicked the rear end of America during the war against them made famous by the Black Hawk Down movie.

Given that American Navy Seals Special Forces and French Special Forces responded to piracy with deadly force recently, the pirates might decide to focus in on softer targets. Alternatively they might escalate their levels of violence as a show of force to deter others from attacking them and forcing the payment of ransom. Either way we have not seen the last of Somalian pirates.

As I write this article my intelligence sources indicate the Somalia Pirates have taken the offensive and have begun firing rocket propelled grenades and full automatic weapons at another US cargo ship The Liberty Sun in a failed hijack attempt.

Pirates have also seized four other ships capturing 60 hostages since the Navy Seals Special Forces killed the three pirates described in this article. Apparently Somalian pirates are targeting more ships and hostages for ransom to demonstrate they are far from intimidated by President Obama’s pledge to confront the pirates.

Nearly two decades ago, eighteen major American cities adopted the phrase “Sanctuary City” to be used in connection with illegal immigrants who reside within their jurisdiction. The term created a practice that did not allow municipal funds or resources to be used to enforce federal immigration laws. As a result, State police and municipal employees could not inquire about anyone’s immigration status.Over the years, the concept of the Sanctuary City has spread to other cities throughout America. This dubious system of law enforcement has led to two governments in America, a federal government that was responsible, but often ineffective, in enforcing national immigration law and a local government that acted as a de facto sponsor for illegal immigration. This contradiction in the enforcement of immigration law, along with a lack of security along the United States border with Mexico, has led to the arrival of twelve million illegal immigrants who currently reside in United States cities.Meanwhile a lack of cooperation between the local and federal government on the issue of illegal immigration has created a standard of law enforcement for the illegal alien that is often far different than that imposed on the ordinary American citizen. Consider the following two examples of illegal immigration law enforcement and you will see why the Sanctuary City has become the new American lawless frontier.San Francisco is a city that has been a true sanctuary for illegal alien and convicted felon, Edwin Ramos. Ramos was found guilty of committing two felonies in San Francisco four years ago when he was a juvenile at the age of 17. His juvenile crimes included a gang-related assault and an attempted robbery of a pregnant woman. Unfortunately, these two felony convictions were just the beginning for Ramos. This is because San Francisco became a Sanctuary City in 1989 and its law prohibits officials from cooperating with federal officials in deporting illegal aliens. As a result, Ramos was not turned over by San Francisco juvenile justice officials to federal immigration authorities. So, the well-known convicted gang leader remained in the city after serving his time only to be arrested once again in early 2008 on weapons and gang related charges.Incredibly, two convicted felonies, a reputation as a well-known gang leader, and another arrest for weapons charges still did not get San Francisco to promptly report Ramos to federal immigration officials (ICE) for deportation. The sad fact is that he was released back onto the streets of San Francisco after being held for just two days. So, when Anthony Bologna and his two sons returned from a picnic on June 22, 2008, they were destined to become the victims of this lawless American frontier called the Sanctuary City. All three were gunned down with an AK-47 and brutally murdered in broad daylight. Edwin Ramos has been charged with the three slayings. It is still uncertain why Ramos committed the murders. It may have been road rage or it could have been a case of mistaken identity since he may have thought that Anthony Bologna was a member of a rival gang. Next, consider that Denver, Colorado is a city that officially and proudly promotes itself as a sanctuary for illegal aliens. The city has certainly lived up to that reputation in the case of illegal alien, Francis Hernandez. Hernandez was arrested sixteen times in five years in Colorado, but he was never reported to federal immigration officials or deported. His criminal charges included forgery, assault, theft, fraud, and driving under restraint. He has never held a driver’s license.A few weeks ago, Hernandez was speeding in a Chevy Suburban and ran through a red light. His SUV hit a northbound white Mazda pickup and the impact of that terrible crash killed the two women in the truck and sent their vehicle cascading one hundred feet into the corner of a Baskin-Robbins in a Market Square shopping center, killing a three year old boy eating an ice cream cone. Hernandez fled the scene on foot, but was later captured and charged with his crime. Every day, a lack of Sanctuary City law enforcement protects the illegal immigrant, often at the expense of the American citizen. Local officials say that playing a role in immigration enforcement would create accusations of racial profiling and cause their departments to lose the trust of immigrant communities. It is thought that illegal immigrants would be reluctant to report crimes out of fear they will be deported. In the meantime, illegal immigrants are allowed sanctuary to murder, rape, and assault Americans. It is a perversity of this country’s legal system which endangers every citizen who lives in the lawless American frontier known as the “Sanctuary City”.

Medical Spa MD
